AIRPORTS

Falcon Field Municipal Airport – Falcon Field Municipal Airport, owned and operated by the City of Mesa, is one of the top 10 general aviation airports in the nation. Located in northeast Mesa, and featuring two runways, it is minutes from hotels, luxury resorts, major league spring training baseball, outdoor recreation, entertainment, shopping, Arizona State University, and other Phoenix metro area cities. The airport serves as home base for more than 800 aircraft and boasts more than 130 on airport businesses.

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport – Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is an international aerospace center with aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, modification, testing, and pilot training. With three 10,000-foot runways and a new passenger terminal that is currently under construction, the airport acts as a reliver for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport has been designated as Foreign Trade Zone #221 and as a Military Reuse Zone, offering aviation companies a significant financial edge in the global marketplace. Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport also houses a new passenger terminal and a Customs Office to assist businesses engaging in international trade.

BUS & RAIL

City of Mesa Streets & Transportation – The City of Mesa department of Transportation manages the public transit options in Mesa. 

City of Mesa Transit Department – Provides, as partners with Valley Metro, public transportation within Mesa. This includes the Light Rail, Bus routes, and Paratransit systems.

Valley Metro – Valley metro is the regional public transportation agency that provides coordinated transit services to Mesa and the surrounding Valley. They operate, in conjunction with the local cities, public transit systems such as the bus, light rail and para transit services.

Bus Service – The Valley Metro bus system is a robust public transit system that connects all corners of the Valley.

Light Rail – The Valley Metro Light Rail connects Northwest Phoenix to East Mesa. There are five stops in Mesa along Main Street.

The Buzz – Valley Metro operates two Buzz options within Mesa. The Mesa Fiesta Buzz and the Mesa Downtown Buzz. Both are free local (limited) bus routes that operate (combined) from Downtown Mesa to Mesa Riverview and then down to the Fiesta District and Mesa Community College.
